View of Long's Peak and Estes Park from the top of The Thumb. The haze is from the huge fire in NE Arizona.  Greg scoping the crux up top.  Above the V corner start.  I tagged along as Ben and Rob were developing a new offwidth in the central formation. Getting off the ledge proved impossible. The route was named (appropriately) 'The Gelding Years'. My voice is now a little higher....  I wonder why they named this route after an enema syringe of all things..?
