Comments: I've corrected the height to 120', and added a warning that lowering on an 80-meter rope will (barely) get you down.

Comments: Fantastic route. The carabiners on the anchors are SUPER rusty though… I was a little sketched out lowering off them.

Comments: From the topo, it looks like you could climb the last pitch of Meteor (the 5.7 above the 11a pitch of Triton Tower). That should take you to the top of the tower. Couldn't you get over to the anchors of Pockets from there? I was just scoping out the possibility to do this very thing...

Comments: The huge jug above and right of the first bolt is no more... It shifted when I was pulling up on it, and then once my belayer was safely out of the way, the whole thing came off with a couple of tugs. Sorry. It left a lower crimp rail, which makes that section is a bit harder. The new sequence is actually pretty good. The rest of the route, however, is completely covered in a layer of dirt...

Comments: Also... for the full value redpoint, you need to start low and direct - NOT uphill on the left and traversing in.

Comments: It's coming back to me... Fairly positive from the low position, I made a move up and left to a crimp, then made a hard move with my right to another crimp (kind of like a gaston, maybe??). From there I reached straight left to the slopey sidepull, moved my right foot to the good foothold (like in the picture) and deadpointed to the credit card. I think the holds I'm talking about can be seen by Mike's head in the 2nd photo. So, to start you would just need to shift about a body width to the rig... more >>
