Comments: Staying outside the chimney on pitch 2 was nice...It felt 5.7ish and leaves pro about 8' below until your able to place a bomber #4, you can even use a head jam!. You wouldn't want to peel here. There is some suspect rock higher on the route. Good route!

Comments: This line is fun! However, the second pitch is a definite sandbag. The start of the 2nd pitch is more like 5.7 until in the corner proper. Other than the 2nd pitch the climbing is 5.4-5.5. This route is the fastest way to approach the climbs high on the hill.

Comments: Great route!! The first pitch had a 5.9ish move involving a jam with limited feet. There was a bolt to the right of the first belay station...Maybe a variation? Looked spicy!! We had four falcons flying around us all day!

Comments: It's possible to continue up instead of moving right although protection would be an issue. Don't leave your bags under the cracks, if it rains they'll get soaked!

Comments: It's worth waking up a the crack of dawn for! I met a mojave green in the creek bed last week, I almost jump on him! Not exactly the way I wanted to encounter this reptile! Who needs Cali for rattlers!

Comments: Cool shot Gigi!!! I feel bad for that small cam! I imagine this was roll out, I can't see the great John Hegyes dropping a prized possesion! On the other hand, there is a name for the unfortunate soul that flings objects from thier gear sling..."Dick Fingers"! Hope all is well!

Comments: Fun route...A bit loose in area's, didn't like the solid sounding hold I took off, nothing to worry about though! I only followed the route and didn't feel anything on the upper slabs deserve above 5.5. A #5 protected pitch 3 somewhat well, a #6 or a big bro would help ease the mind. Straightforward as it get though...If ya bring a 50m, the belays work out, just as you're screaming "2 feet" your leader is screaming back "off belay"! I suspect a 60 or 70 would put you on better... more >>

Comments: Seems like we did a variation of the second pitch...From the anchors above the dihedral, my partner trended right of the overhang toward and over the half arch onto sandy white face. This line had virtually no pro and was very lose. It was about 200' and ended at a huge belay ledge, to the right of the ledge with a huge boulder on it. This left us with simple climbing to lovers ledge. Fun day!

Comments: There is 1 bolt atop pitch 3. Don't know why it's there?? Plenty of natural anchors exist. The bolts on pitch 2 are mighty rusty!!! I was glad to see a new bolt there!!! We added some quick links to the lonely pine @ climber left and adjusted the webbing. We ran into 4 rappel anchors??? If rapping off to the left of the route, skip the first anchor you come across on the way down as it's a bit wonky! There is a nice, girthy pine tree about 15-20' below this. Found another anchor right ab... more >>

Comments: Fun route and very overbolted!!! There are 14 bolts to the anchors. There is some loose rock on this climb. I took two hand holds and one foot hold down. We used more like 7 draw to get to the anchors. Didn't get up the second pitch but will try one day!!!

Comments: JV is a fun route. We had two parties rappelling down while we were climbing up...This made for quite a scene!!! Both parties reluctantly climbed back up to free their snagged rope. I would recommend rappelling the gully as it puts you right back were you start JV. Using the gully for descent also creates less traffic on JV. We descended the gully, had no issues and were down about the same time the snagged rope climbers were packing up. This descent uses one rope (we had a 70 meter) and i... more >>

Comments: Fun sport route...Lots of loose rock taken down by my 250 lbs friend!!! The little bulge below the anchors seemed loose so use a bit of caution!

Comments: Gorgeous climb, Great protection, Great exposure...I would recommend climbing CITH with two ropes as it eliminates any down climbing. If you start this route after 11:00 on a week-end be prepared to walk out and maybe rappel in darkness. This route was swarming with odd numbered parties helping turn a 2 hour climb into a 7 hour climb. Seems all parties rapped off at the top of pitch 4...They missed out. Pitch 6 is a must do, I found moving right after the bolt and then back left caused less str... more >>

Comments: Short but sweet. Wasn't planning on climbing this one but due to the crowds on Panty Wall's sport ledge plans changed!!! Perfect for learning on...Bring Cams up to #2 and a set of nuts.

Comments: Almost no use in protecting this little climb...Bring medium nuts and a small cam if you're feeling hung over! A good second option for a crowded sport wall!!
