Comments: best to stick clip the first bolt and not use gear. I believe this route still has padlocks on the bolts, it is easy to clip underneath them.

Comments: Those Killingworth climbers are sandbaggers and they dont even know it. That of course is why Mtn Proj is so nice, everyone can rate the climb and it averages the ratings. You might only be the 2nd or 3rd person to try these so after a while the ratings change. look at Subline (10d) at the main cliff for example, I believe the Mtn Proj rating is around 11b or so.

Comments: I dont remember seeing any pitons while I trembled my way up this route. 5.9R scary, needs a couple of bolts. The crack down at the bottom(Yvette) is sweet and can be done as a short pitch by itself.

Comments: erik- unfortunately the quality of "trad" climbers in CT is not up to par of the other 49 states. nothing is normal here really. the bolts are trustworthy, just make sure nobody has tried to hacksaw through them before you clip and you may have to lift up some padlocks and clip underneath them while leading.
