Comments: Great moves on solid rock. A soft tick, but that doesn't detract from the beauty of the moves.

Comments: The description above doesn't match the route! The above description seems to fit one of the routes in the middle of the wall better.

The climb is equipped with Plated Petzl hangers not tan Fixe hangers. Also the anchors are at the end of an easy slab, and nowhere near the crux.

The steep start is soon passed and the 2nd bolt clipped. After that a slab gives access to a step wall with good holds. Passing the top of the wall onto the slab above proves to be the crux, and it is fairly fi... more >>

Comments: The best climb on the right hand side.

The undercut start is the provides the hardest moves on the wall, and the steep groove at the top provides really nice technical climbing.

Comments: The short steep section at the start isn't as hard as it looks. The upper wall provides the best climbing on the route.

Comments: A great problem. Although not too high the position as you go for the good slot up high gets the heart racing.

Stellar rock.

Comments: The starting move is the crux with a powerful right crimpy pinch.

Pity it isn't longer.

Comments: The moves at the top are good, but the bolt placement earlier in the climb is possibly the worst I have ever seen. The 1st bolt is way too high and the third is hard to clip from the large ledge unless you are over 6'.

Better gear placement would have made this 2 stars. As it stands an ok (just) route.

Comments: There is also a fun eliminate up the middle of the wall between the two recognized problems. It has a sit start and goes at the same grade as the others.

Comments: A great problem. Great moves and high enough to add some spice. The new guide has it at V6, which may be a little generous. Who cares about the grade, the problem is a must do.

Comments: We were up there yesterday, and the crag was climbable on the left side. There was snow at the base, but it had melted out and didn't cause too much trouble.

The right side is still very wet, and not really climbable.

Comments: The "Classics" list is an automatically generated list that is added to parent area pages on MP. The list is created by selectively including routes that have been given classic (4 stars) status by the original poster. If you post up routes that you have done and give them 4 stars because you think they are a classic the route may well get included. Also note that this list changes day to day.

Glad you are enjoying the area.
