Comments: There are two sections of poor rock quality on this climb. One right before the crux (I broke a hold and took a ride) and one right after the crux.

Comments: Great climb with great movement and intelligently bolted. So far, my favorite at the crag.

Comments: A fun route with a very thin crux. Bring your edging shoes. I found this harder than some of the other 10a-10c's on the wall but just for the one very well-protected move.

Comments: The Northern Colorado Climbers' Coalition guide calls it Ship's Prow, and it is listed on this site as Ship's Prow Right.

Comments: Finger Ripper is to the right and is an eliminate. You cannot use the crack and have to go up the face on tiny crimps and sidepulls. You can see the chalked holds in the picture: the two chalked sidepulls to the right of the climber and the two chalked crimps below and in between the chalked sidepulls. Basically the face between the climber in the photo and the crack to the right.

Comments: The "dirt fall" would be considered second class. Fourth class is when people start to rope up.

Comments: I always clipped the bolt at the crux with a single locker. Not a hard clip, but helps to keep you off the ledge.

I also did the first ascent.

Comments: This one has some history. It was first climbed with two bolts and a slung tree by Ken Duncan. Brian Hopkins and I re-discovered it and got permission to add more bolts. Note that many of the holds broke when we first checked out the line, which made it much harder than it was originally. All the thin holds after the ledge were incut at one time.

Every effort was made to reuse the old bolt holes, and that is why the clip is so far off the midway ledge. One of the old bolts was removed by hand,... more >>

Comments: Isn't this route already in the database as "Harry Butthole Pussy Potter"? Not the most PC name, so I don't know if it has been changed in the new guides, but I think it is the same climb.

Comments: Lots of very thin holds that don't look permanent. Also there is some very large and very loose blocks at the start of the upper dihedral. While the climbing is fun (not great), the rock quality takes away from the overall quality of the route.

Comments: Did the top of this break? Seems way hard for 12c.
