Comments: A few of us are heading out here next weekend. We'll try to get some better pics. The area faces south and is on the south aspect of the south bluff, so its one of the better late season bouldering areas in the park.

Comments: PJ and I worked this line last weekend and found it to be hard but possible. Definately one of the obvious projects in the park, it'll get done this fall! Classic Hard!

Comments: Nice, there are a number of classic mini routes; that is routes that are definately in the great and greatly missed Bachar zone 2-3. There is one that definately deserves more attention, the Best Bulge 5.12, put up by Eric Z in between horse rampart and squirrel tower(?). Steep and cool! Keep up the hunting and keep gettin' after it boys!

Comments: Actually, I was thinking about this the other day. I told Jim about the ejaculator in 2004, this problem was sent in 2002. There's no way Andrew sent this as the FA, I have pics of at least 3 people sending it in 2003 on the summer soltice crank du jour.

Comments: Hey Pete and Jay, We climbed 15 total with nothing harder than 5.9. Start with turks tooth 5.5 , turks head 5.5, cleos 5.4, tilted tower 5.6, unnamed East of tilted 5.2- 5.6 jam crack(east face), The frigate 5.5-5.9, split tower 5.7, smoke stack 5.9 (classic!), unnamed tower east of smoke stack(my personal highlight, short tower with old pin driven in horizontal with 2 names carved into the tower from 1938!), first tower 5.7, suntop 5.8, great tower 5.6, prospect point pinnicle 5.6, reclining ... more >>

Comments: Pete, thanks for the inspiration. I'm moving back w/ the family to the midwest in a few weeks and pics like this help a ton. You should consider doing the west bluff tower circuit; 15 towers in a day is a great day of climbing weather you're in the sawtooths or wisconsin. Have a great spring!

Comments: Great route. The first four pitches are the goods, while the upper pitches are just ok. The mac/ ammon variation to the wormhole looks better although there are some loose blocks on the following pitch. Also be ready for some biz on the last pitch, bring a hook! Pitch five is plush bivy as well. An obscure Zion classic.

Comments: Pretty sure paul and I did all the lines except for the center(jims problem) before we even took people up there. Standard DL style usually warants the people who find the chunk of stone to do as many problems before telling their friends. At least thats what I learned from climbing with EZ, that sneaky bastard!
