Comments: I remember do a couple problems from the back of the roof and climbing out around 2001 if this is the same boulder. It is steep for a good body length then a lip encounter and transfer to lower angle moves..Nice to see this area getting attention. I remember a couple other decent boulders as well.

Comments: How are the rap anchors on this for descending Phantom? Is a bolt needed/helpful or are the anchors fairly new? Looks like the FA was 2007, is that correct? any info would be great!

Comments: We looked at this last week. Looked cool. There is a ton of classic highballs to be done here. We put up a number of new problems as well. Fun are with a good amount of shade as well. One problem, second hand smoke is really good. I'l try to post some pics...

Comments: Ian, nice work breathing some new life into this area. I did some bouldering in there back around 2000 and always was surprised that it was over looked. I think we called one part of the area the neck oil wall, but names don't matter, just that folks are out crankin'.

Comments: Classic route for sure. For added value do the sweet little 5.10 splitter in the tower off the huge belay ledge about 120ft up. Its possible the best section of finger splitter crack in the park, although its on 30ft long max.... definitely worth it though.

Comments: I remember climbing this some time around 1999. Not sure if it was the first or not. Eric Z and I did some other work as well on it.

Comments: Nice work, especially with 3. Have you done the west bluff tower circuit? We did 15 towers in a day pretty casually and I think Remo and a [artner did 20-24 in a full day push.
I think coming up with with little logistical challenges like these brings the best out in DL and transfers to big routes very well. I would like to hook up with you guys sometime...

Comments: Hey Paul, nice to see you guys add this overlooked bouder to the mix. I believe it was cleaned up by Eric Z. sometime around 2000-2001. we called it the pyramid bouder or something lame like that... Definitely worth an afternoon quick session as it may be one of the easiest approaches at DL. Sideshow seems a fitting name. Happy crankin'!
