Comments: Just climbed this with Rico. P2 was the crux & highlight. A lot of terrain felt 3rd class and was fun simul-climbing. We led pitches 1,2 & 5.

Comments: TR'd this which is worth doing if you can't lead this grade. Great climbing!

Comments: Good climbing to roof then unprotected stemming to top (#6 cam :-). Easy belay anchor. No loose rock. Scramble straight down off back.

Comments: A bit runout on small pro at the top. Watch for rappellers coming right down on top of you.

Comments: Just led this and it was fun, but: there is a large detached flake at the start. This actually moved under the weight of my partner. If this breaks loose it could kill you and your belayer. Belayers, stand to the side.

Comments: "Worthwhile on a rest day": hilarious. Lead this when you're well rested and have a handful of recent 5.9 slabs under your belt. Sustained and runout on top.

Comments: I just rappelled this and it was horribly loose and dangerous. Do not climb this route when it is dry.

Comments: Alternate: on the first pitch continue past the ledge up into a shaded o/w crack which is Secovar. Follow this to a ledge with bolts for a 30m pitch. Head rightward on SE Corner to top out. You can place a #6 cam at the crux.

Comments: Just climbed this yesterday and call it 5.7R. The first pitch is long; 180'. My guess is the FA party did it in 2 pitches (you pass 2 fp's). Save some big cams for the first belay.

Traversing from the first belay to the 5.1 crack involves a few no-hands slab moves: if you fall here you will pendo across low angle rock, off an ancient fixed pin. Did not see the bolt shown on the guide topo. Did see an old one ~10' right of the 5.1 crack; off route.

Pitches 3 & 4 have ... more >>
