Comments: Yes, choping a excellent bolt Laddder put up by the Riverside Rescue team was a shame. The climbers decide to play God and remove a excellent training route. I wonder how they would of felt if their route was removed! Today, climbers hardley ever climb the 5.12 route on Headstone. However, many climbes before use to climb the route before it was chopped for Aid practice. I believe that is why we have problems with bolt Ladders today in the park. Comments: Right On is a excelent route! Three Stars rating. I have been climbing in Joshua Tree since 1977. Tri- Cams work great on the second pitch on Right On. I use to climb Right On and switch cracks into Orange Flake ,a crack Left of Right On. Try the Rappell routeat the top of Right On, not the standard one put up by John Wolfe. You must walk down a steep ramp to theRappell bolts; a excellent 150 foot Rappell and closer to you car.I installed rhe bolts their in mid 70s
