Comments: So is this land legal? I only ask because I don't carry a firearm and was hoping to go check this out this weekend, but if its that sketchy I think I'll pass until its a bit more traveled.

Comments: Caution: 6/8/09 I was warned by other climbers that the hangers on the top half of this rout were loose! One person said that the nut was not even finger tight one one bolt. So be aware and maybe carry a wrench if you plan to climb this route.

Comments: Thanks for the info Jason. I'm also from Los, but go to school in las Cruces so I was hoping to hit up the tower on my way down in jan. but Soccoro probably would be a safer bet. Hopefully the snow will clear enough that i can climb a bit while I'm up here.

Comments: I was wondering if anyone climbs here during the winter months. I saw that is at 8000 ft I'm looking at hitting this place up in mid january but with all the snow lately Im kinda worried if its worth it?

Comments: I dont know if this is the right place to ask, but here it goes. Does anyone know if the tunnel has been reopened. we climbed out there a few weeks ago, we didn't see any signs posted and were completely unaware that it was closed. we're planning on heading out again this upcomming weekend, but if it's still closed we'll have to go elswhere.
