Desicon moving through the "side-cling/ lieback" above bolt #2 preparing to clip bolt #3 and initiate the actual crux sequence.  Desicon reaches above and just right of the 4th bolt on "Sudden Impact" for the 5.8+ version of this section.  Desicon demonstrating the presumed 5.6+ left-hand, stemming start on "Sudden Impact." The left thumb finds a secure undercling in the vertical crack on the far side of the dihedral. <br /> <br />To do the "plumb-line" start, keep both hands on the face below the bolt, move both feet to the right wall of the dihedral -- probably a 5.7+ mount done this way.  The "toy roof" of Toy Roof figures prominently in the middle foreground, while the climber has just clipped the second bolt.
