Comments: Asahi 5.10B *** G - Mickey Mouse Wall - Eldorado Canyon - Colorado

The first pitch has a friendly buffet of 9+ with a brief spike of 10b passing the arete after the first bolt. I believe I found gear every 8 to 10 feet, and with no ledges enroute I would rate this "G" as completely safe for falling on.

I was somewhat relieved when I found bolt #2 hidden just over a large handhold as I was gunning ever upward for bolt #3.

Looking directly west is the most impressive rock face with three vertical lichen streaks, and a generally flat top. To its right is a forested saddle. From the broad summit follow skyline left, dropping off the summit to a formation behind. Continuing left is Wasteland Pinnacle with a 400 foot drop on its left. The Pitch 3 chimney is facing you, ... more >>
