Location: NY : The Gunks : Peterskill : Khadejha Area : Sound Barrier (5.10a R) By: David Cooper When: Jul 10, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: A bit of a highball V0 boulder problem to first piece (15' or so). Good gear after this in each horizontal you pass. Light PG rating for the start. Good quality climbing. An easy and bomber TR set up if your not comfortable leading it.

Location: WV : Seneca Rocks By: David Cooper When: Jun 9, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: Classic Seven Tour. After the Hundred Club this is the next best way to spend a long day at Seneca. Best on a weekday or less crowded weekend. My favorite tour, in order of routes... SJM, Ecstasy, Dufty's, Prune, Crispy Critter, T Jam, West Pole, Pleasant O, Green Wall, Soler, Rox Salt. Start at sunrise and you should be walking out in time for dinner. A fantastic way to shake it up a bit if you've been looking for a new Seneca adventure.

Location: CO : Estes Park Valley : CO Hwy 7 & Tributaries : Jurassic Park - Lily Lake : Big Ass Slab? : Critical Morass (5.10d) By: David Cooper When: Jun 5, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: Well equipped. Super friction. 10a, no harder. Good quality moves through lower crux section and then higher up through seam.

Location: CO : Estes Park Valley : Big Thompson Canyon : The Monastery : Outer Gates : La Maudite (5.9+) By: David Cooper When: Jun 4, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: This is a really nice route. Bolts where you want them. Good rests along the way. No moves harder than 5.9, and with so many good rests and well placed bolts, can't see this graded harder than 5.9. Calls on a lot of different movement and technique which makes it a classic and may have some folks finding it more challenging if not experienced on varied rock.

Location: PA : Governor Stable : Breadloaf & Immediate Vicin... : Breadloaf Arete (V4) By: David Cooper When: May 30, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: No harder after the chip break. A little headier maybe. Just makes you use the already good feet more precisely.
