Comments: Climb the 5.8 start! the middle part of the route is good simulclimbing terrain even with an inexperienced partner. Makes for a great day a long way from the trailhead.

Comments: West Gully is looking really nice. We were at Black Lake 3/17 and it looks as though the crux of the route is the snow fan at the base. If the crux is WI4 it's super short. The slabs at the top are blue and sweet looking. There are some crazy bulges for the Black Lake slabs. The trail is packed out all the way to Black Lake.
