Comments: This is the time of day where Anasazi Arete casts a shadow that looks like a profile of a head.

Comments: That looks about right, Jay. I would have to look back at my notes, but much of my information for Rebel Wall came from a crude hand drawn topo from Alvino Pon.

Comments: The lower angled slab to the right has an anchor to use for top-roping. Fun slab climbing on bullet rock. You can access the anchor by scrambling to it from the right up the gully and doing an exposed traverse. Josh M. pieced together a route that starts right of CoB, pulls the roof, and continues on the flake/pillar. This was all done in summer 2009.

Plenty more potential for new routes on this formation.

Comments: Correct, Jay, my gear lists were pre-C4, so an old #4 Camalot or C4 #5 would be good to have. This and its neighbor to the right are good moderate crack routes; a rarity in Clear Creek.

Comments: Yeah Mark! Dean told me that story when we did Safecracker! Whatever it ends up being called, its got interesting climbing on it especially the transition and top! Was an adventure in itself to aid.

Comments: "Redball Biscuits"
Redball links with upper half of High Hanging Biscuits pretty reasonably (5.6) for a longer variation. Extend the anchor and next bolt with runners and continue with HHB.

Comments: Cindy, the route between RITS and Knossos is actually the start of Minoan Maze. They cross at the ledge. I didn't draw it in my picture topo, but there is one of Pete's original topos on the main page.

Comments: Impressive work on the FFA, Eric! Wish I could have seen it go down!

I originally thought this battle would graze 5.12 if not for a few thank-God jugs at its steepest part. Desperate chicken-wings, brutal rattly fist stacks, and crafty leg work will see you through. The protection bolt is convenient at the crux to keep the rope out of your way as you take the tipped #6 for a walk.

Add this one to the local o-dubya circuit!

Comments: Charlie, typically they are not. I can think of about a half-dozen total at Turkey Rocks. Count on building your own belay anchors and walk-of descents! Enjoy this special place.

Comments: I remember having a long sling on crux of B&T, as I did not do the moves using the second left side-pull. At one point, my draws were on both of these routes but must have vanished over the years.

Chris, a few long draws at choice spots on DS will help with some tough or early clips and also with rope drag when running the pitch in its entirety.

Comments: Wow. Thanks for all the feedback! Engagement is very different from a route like Arch Enemy for many reasons, and would be more comparable to routes such as Coyote Tower or Earth Angel, also not everyone's cup of tea.
