Comments: After over 10 years, this thing felt much harder than I remember and would be a great candidate for some serious re-bolting to make more sensible clips. Regardless, the price of admission is a burly move.

Comments: I'm with you JJ. A better approach road would add a star to the already 4 star routes. There will be haters who would not want better access. But this could be excellent for the NACC, FCC, and GNAR to rally with the appropriate channels to work on this.

Comments: Adds almost a mile though 253G is flat at least. Would be super easy with bike if youre into that.

Comments: Well bummer. Passed by 253G the other day and noticed a new "no motor vehicles" sticker on its sign post. I guess now its "official".

Comments: a great "welcome back to sedona" route. A few notes from our ascent yesterday. Great tshirt temps.
Good beta about stashing packs, leaving approach shoes at jungle belay etc.
As sands through the hour glass so will be below the clever access pitch.
P2 is pretty awesome, P3 is price of admission, but still fun and interesting, to the sweet 4th pitch wide hands pitch to a big sunny ledge.
The last pitch is wild and exposed. I fell into the temptation of climbing too much on the arete, offline of... more >>

Comments: according to Toula's guide, the obvious short hand/fist crack in the black streak right of center might be "A Fine Line" - 5.9, and another one right of it may be "The Depths" - 5.8 (possibly the left-facing dihedral). I have not confirmed this yet.

Comments: rather amazing with clever sequences at a manageable grade especially compared to the other Cwm-Corners. The step off the belay over space is pretty exciting as well as the bomber hand crack and exposed finger crack with JUGS! Volunteer's version of Loose Lips, but better ;)
