More information:
During the work week I am teaching highschool. The rest of the time, my wonderful girl friend April and rock climbing occupies my time. I am still relatively new to technical climbing, but am doing my best to advance in the skill. In the last year and a half, I have climbed in 6 states (Oklahoma, Arkansas,Arizona,California, Nevada, and Colorado). Jordan and I made a futile attempt at climbing the Nose only to find out I was not mentally or physically prepared after only 6 months of technical climbing in Oklahoma. However, since then I have been working on my skills and endurance and will make another attempt soon. In addition to climbing, I also enjoy biking, camping, tree climbing (although there are not many worthy of climbing in Oklahoma), and traveling. If you ever see me out in the Wichita's, you will likely meet my favorite rock climbing dog Gomer. He loves running around and scrambling over boulders. Although, he can be a little skittish getting up some 3rd and 4th class terrain, so it is not uncommon for me to throw him on my shoulders and carry him over the rougher terrain.
