Comments: Hey guys, censorship will not change anything. Profanity will always exist and a word is just a word (reference "sticks and stones..."). I don't like what you named your kids, frankly it offends me, I hope you don't mind if I call them whatever I want.

Comments: If you are using the crack to the left, you are not climbing 5.10! That crack goes at about 5.7 (if that). I personally think the crack should have its own name and rating. I know someone FA'd it. Put a name on it and subtract it from P&L.

Comments: I give it a 7. If you keep moving through the crux and stay focused, it's a cakewalk. Hang around and place gear on it, you just sandbagged yourself. I'll give that 9 variation an 8+ at best, there are obscure but good feet all the way up it. All in all, it's a great intro to 5.7 Eldo climbing.

Comments: height dependent rating. I am 5'7" so this is like a 10b for me. lot's of fun though. I hope that little crystal of calcite stays for a while.

Comments: Pitch 1 I found myself amidst the most technical climbing on this pitch looking at a slabby 50 footer. None of the climbing is super hard, but the crux of the route is pretty stingy as far as pro is concerned. In hindsight I may have been off route (not hard to do here since the guidebook is super-old and not very good). I did not encounter the afforementioned bolt.

Comments: How old is this pic man? Still got em? Though I am partial to the new style Commielots I am always looking to bolster the rack.

Comments: If it is not too hot, I recommend wearing pants.
It can be a real meat grinder.

Comments: If this route is 5.8, my dog wants to sell you a bridge in Frisco!!! Any route with an overhanging handcrack should not be considered an 8.

Comments: The runout at the top is definitely hairy. I seconded this route and after I cleaned the last draw before the anchors I had images of taking a winger across a cheese grater-like slab.

To add insult to injury amidst my struggle; the guy who led it did it in his Chacos. Effin Gunnison kids!
