Comments: The Seventh Tentacle is so fat that when I first hit the ice gravey poored out.

Comments: I am not sure about the M rating. I [guessed] M6 because of the delicate crux. Oh yeah, I [meant] the crux was the "slab" not the "slap"

Comments: As of 26 Dec, the Fang has fallen. There is a large base formed but the column has fallen and is starting over.

Comments: Interesting climb. Truly a grunt at the begining. I chiped a tooth clenching my jaw on this climb. Every time my toung feels that rough spot on my tooth I remember that climb.

Comments: The Fang's front is in what I would guess is WI4+. It was a good time. Hey Rob, who is the bad Mo Fo again!

Comments: Lead (and climbed) the Designator for the first time this past weekend(21 Feb 04). It was raining on the right and supper choped on the left. I started in the midle and worked left. In these conditions it was no problem even for a begginer like myself. It was awsome! Oh Yea, Rob, who is the bad Mo Fo?

Comments: Be careful of that center colum. It has a nice horazontal crack about 4 feet from the base.

Comments: I am new to the ice game, so I am not the best judge of ratings. I lead this rout on 17 Jan 2004 and it was short but steep.

Comments: Take your beginner friends to introduce them to multi pitch. If anyone has recomindations as to how to reduce rope drag at the third pitch at the entrance into the chimney let me know. the only thing I can think of is not placing in the thin crack just before and to the left of the chimney.

Location: CO : South Platte : Turkey Rocks : Leftovers : Too Much Crack (5.10-)

Comments: Pretty thin at the begining of the crack. bring your small stuff. The traverse is not as scarry as the begining. Great climb in my opinion.

Comments: One of the best cracks at this level. Great biginer lead, just make sure to protect the crux at the traverse into the second crack well.

Comments: Great 2 or 3 pitch climb. I recommend combining the first two pitches. One of the few good reasons to climb in the Garden.
