Comments: Is personal record keeping not an appropriate use of mp? I can care less of what others do or think, excluding of course those that are limited cognitively. Let me know personally if you object to this type of information and I will happily transfer it to a private domain. The earth wasn't built in a day; you are more that welcome to develop the area at your own leisure.

Comments: Use severe caution on approach to Gardeners!

Rattle Snake observed on newer/proposed Gardener’s wall trail today after crossing the wash up steep hillside, rattling began on two occasions and continued for a few additional steps.

Comments: It may not be my place, so for that I am sorry! However "We hear and obey" is true in many of our cases, unfortunately not all will subscribe & or conform to this style. Please...be patient. Send sum one a note and go, fuel is costly anyway…carpool! The area is remote and involves many a precarious approach!

Comments: Note : Getting There - "It is possible to drive to the upper area and park there if you want to put your vehicle through its paces and skip the two minutes it takes to walk up the hill." It is no longer possible or appropriate to do the prior, as you will find fencing!

At this time you must park just off the main access road in what are a couple places to park a few vehicles! If you have higher clearance drive further east to the end to conserve low clearance access for others. This area off... more >>

Comments: Permits for the Tonto National Forest are conveniently available (for under 10$) at the Fuel Station located in the south west section of the corner of westbound Dynimite Blvd. and northbound Almashool roads (Right turn off Dynamite or Left turn off Almaschool). Many other stores and business are located in the building area, including pizza!

Comments: Generally, climbing in the McDowell Mountains means stiff ratings to include run-out’s as many of the routes are longtime established. Expect a wide variety of formations on varying quality of Granite. Hours Sunrise to Sunset, Stay on well established trails, No off-road driving, & No Fires or Camping!

Comments: Yes in fact that is the Dome Wall, or Morell's Wall as it's often referred. That Photo is captured during summer from atop the Slab Ridge, or Sven's Slab as its known, looking South - West to the Wall as well as the Granite Thimble, or The Thumb.
