Climbing to the top.... Lot of dried lichen on the rock made the footing precarious enough to get someone climbing this route the first time excited.

Our route was along the red dotted line. The white dashed line, I think, is College Drop Out. The part where the route meets College Drop Out was the most difficult part for me. Someone with really long reach could climb it with easy, but if you have a short reach like I do, then it will be a real workout as there are no good hand/foot holds.

Our GPS track. We started from NCAR (follow track clockwise). The yellow dot is where the summit is for this climbing route, we think. Either way, easy climb. Great climb. Getting there was more exciting than the climb. Lot of bush whacking....

Comments: Here's the GPS location where we parked: N39 38.667 W106 20.285 (8262 ft). Not sure if this was the Pumphouse, but there were gas pipes coming out from the small building.

Comments: GPS coordinate for the base of this climb
N39 37.724 W106 17.567 (8787 ft)

Quite easy to spot from the Racquet Club parking lot. Make sure you ask for parking permit at the Racquet Club House. The street names in the "Getting There" on the "Racquet Club Area" page are WRONG! Use this GPS coordinate for parking lot location: N39 37.830 W106 17.467 (8554 ft). You will come across fair amount of backcountry boarders/skiers. Thanks to them the path to this spot is usually packed down.

Comments: If you use GPS, then here is the coordinate for the area where you can immediately see the Mo' Flo' Than Go to your left and the other ice routes to the right (N40 17.635 W105 39.018). Just follow the Loch Vale Trail to that GPS point and you will be set.

Comments: As Jeremy has noted, the ice is in. The upper portion is still wet (water flowing behind the ice). Don't get too enthusiastic about sticking your tools in in the upper part of the middle route, you may end up punching through the ice and get your hand wet. Hopefully a few more cold spells (like today) will help it completely ice up in the next few weeks.
