Comments: The previous post is an imposter, [Eds. it has been deleted] FYI I have returned to Summit County for the winter and have not had a chance to chime in for a while. I also just had knee surgery last Tuesday so will not be able to climb for a little bit.

I do however know of the arete that the fake CC is talking about and I too believe this would be a great clip up pretty close to the car, well I guess it used to be close to the car. Hey fake CC, get some bolts in that thing, it is a pretty s... more >>

Comments: Another intricate slab jubilee of fascinating movements. Truly a rare precious peach of a climb. This was our last climb today, was kind of tired, so I thought it was a bit harder, 5.7c/d.

Comments: Not really sure where this route goes, I had [Rossiter's] topo, and got a little off route, Might have done FA variations. Good climbing with interesting moves

Comments: Finally climbed this obscure gem. Not too bad, Save a blue Alien for the crux and the #7 stopper.

Comments: Only two stars for me, It is not as cool as other routes on this formation, but a good option if there are crowds here. Simuled the whole route in one pitch. 14 minutes on route.

Comments: Good moves at the crux, slabby and exciting, I hardly had to jam the crack. Good route.

Comments: Climbed this for the first time on lead today. I got off route a couple times, but managed to make it to the cave. I thought the cave was tricky at first, but it really is not that bad. You can get some really good cams in the flake on the wall. The flake sounds hollow, and flexes quite a lot, but the cams look good so don't worry. Lead with the left hand over the lip and find the jug, It's pretty easy if you get the stem with your leg on the opposite wall. I only give two stars because ... more >>

Comments: I'm planning on bolting this bad boy as soon as the weather looks good. It will be nicer for people transitioning from the gym to leading outdoors. It is much easier to lead without carrying all the trad gear.

Comments: I agree, Maybe a bolt would not be so bad to protect the ground fall. This is a very moderate climb with serious consequences. I believe it would be a service to the community and climbing population in general. There are a bit of novices getting in over there head, besides how many more people could access this hidden gem if it were made more accesible to all.
