Comments: Someone replaced that missing bolt. Old one must have loosened, and someone pulled it out instead of tightening it down. Didn't realize that fixed line was so hard on the eyes. Mine were unaffected. Must be a matter of perspective. Enjoy the 20 feet of slabby choss. And Jason....I try, but I just can't please everyone.

Comments: Good question Darren. KC....can you confirm this distinction? I've seen lots of king snakes up this high but never a coral snake. I like snakes so I have a genuine curiosity about the certainty of this claim. KC, not knowing how familiar you are with Arizona snakes, I'm not sure if this claim is reliable. Did you make the distinction Darren mentioned when you saw the snake at the Overlook?

Comments: Hey Chris. This is an unnamed v2. Man Tits starts just left of the plaque and finishes up the scoop in the center of the wall. You should add this climb to MP with a good name. Glad to see you're climbing.

Comments: You can start this problem on the Flexi flake hold and make a long move up left to the 2 pockets... then up.... for a stout v4.

Comments: Beautiful. I like how I can see the structure and erosion pattern within the rock foot that makes up Gloria's. From the air you can really see what a unique mountain it is. A shot like this would be great for an Elden climbing guide.

Comments: Thanks for the beta photos Red Tagger. Ravens Perch is the crack system to the left and Rick Flare is the crack to the right. Let me know if you want to climb up there some time.

Comments: Nice. There's a line we did that starts at the cable route and traverses right into Face Lift. Bumps it up a number but I can't remember a name.

Comments: We originally rated this 10d because David said it was. I changed the grade after doing it again recently. This climb is 5.11, just as we originally thought.

Comments: I'll admit....we did a minimal amount of cleaning on this one. I was burnt out from cleaning several other routes, and the rest of the crew just doesn't care if it's dirty. Also, recent rains may have coated the rock with dirt, because I don't remember it being too dirty up high.

Comments: Hey Red...that's a route that Bloom and Crawley started and found to be v10 in the start, to 5.11 forced up the arete. Bolting is unfinished.

Comments: I had no problem putting the draws on and clipping when I did it, but I had been there before....I knew what to expect. Eric, this route has seen two onsights already so I decided to lower the grade to 11d which is what you suggested after you hiked it. Felt that way to me also when I did it.

Comments: If I rated it as a boulder problem...I'd call it at least v5....possibly v6...which makes it at least 12c. Tamara must be crushing for this to feel like a b/c.

Comments: How about a low anchor at the crest for a nice 5.11....and one can choose to add the headwall finish for more difficulty.

Comments: I agree David. I always felt that move alone is more like solid 11. I changed my grade to 11b, which remains weighted.
