Comments: Nuts, tri cams and hexes (all small to med) will place better than cams on this one.

Comments: Right On for Tollhouse! Just spent my first full day there. Led Beginners Delight, TR'ed Shining Path, then led the first pitch of Wandering Taoist(heady), then we finished the day up on 4 pitches of Beginners Right into Elephant Walk. Last pitch in headlamps with the Fresno lights shining bright. Had a blast and will go again soon. The road in is pretty gnar at that one bad spot. You'll need some burly high clearence 4wd to get up and down that.

Comments: Led all the pitches of this climb in the summer of 2010. The bolt ladders are SCARY!. Old, rusty bolts placed in the late 1980s?). Still the one hanger missing. After the two pitches of bolt ladders, the upper pitches are quite easy and good. You can see the huge crack if you drive a little bit past the Moro Rock parking lot.

Comments: This is a nice place to go bouldering. Leave a nice big sandy beach and head south into the boulders. Go at low tide for the best conditions. dont need a pad for most problems except for the best boulder at the end that stays dry most of the time.

Location: WV : Coopers Rock
By: Chad Namolik When: Feb 26, 2010

Comments: Coopers is a great place to boulder, toprope, or do short trad leads. All styles of climbing can be found here. majority of climbing in the .11/.12 ranges, but enough for all levels of climbing. Fun place in a beautiful forest. Didn't know it was grit, thought it was sandstone-like rock. Fall is ideal time to visit.

Location: CA : High Sierra : The Black Kaweah
By: Chad Namolik When: Feb 3, 2010

Comments: I hiked Black Kaweah in the summer of 2007. The best and most direct route is the SW chute from the base lake. Its mostly all class three with a couple of class 4+ moves. It sometimes holds snow/ice well into late July. There is loose rock all over the place. A helmet is recommended. The view from the summit is spectacular.
