Me climbing '5.10 corner' and succumbing to the laybacking nature of the climb. I tried so hard to climb it like an OW! oh well. Really cool corner up to a funky traverse.

Comments: I'm 5'2". The overhang bolt looked impossible to reach from the ramp below. Any short people have experience with this?

Comments: Anyone know when the closure takes place? I'd like to go up in August, but want to make sure this wall is open to climb.

Comments: I also had the nut pre-placed for me, however I was too short to reach the solid finger jam on the left from the stack of rocks. Instead I started at the bottom and traversed over to get it. Climbing it this way added a few more stout moves, but it was super fun and rewarding. I recommend it.

Comments: First two pitches are incredible. P1 is pumpy and thin, P2 has some funky moves and an amazing slap to the arete. Tony, I totally agree with P3. I was going to lead it until we realized the danger, so Matt stepped up to the plate to do it for me. It's also much harder if you're shorter, I had to do it completely different than Matt.... Next time I'll definitely do the Rosy variation.

Comments: Oh goodness. Finally ticked this one off today. P1 was definitely crux for me, way more techy and strength-related. P2 was nice, but P3 was terrifying! I followed P3 and pretty much hugged the arete around the corner; very blind and very exposed. P4 was incredible and seemed relatively easy to protect. I slotted a solid brass from a blind stance, made a move, then shoved a bomber black Alien in (apparently I shoved a little too much, since it got stuck). Sweet moves and definite... more >>
