Comments: I'll agree with anyone who says 11+ or 12-... with 12- being the high range of what I have ever been comfortable leading at the creek, and I thought this was tough in 2004. If it has broken, such is the way of sandstone, I hope people play lightly in the desert, even the stones are fragile.

Comments: An amazing tower. We had warm weather and sunshine for the hike in and out, and a nice Spring blast of icy wind driven snow at the top. Classic desert tower and classic desert Spring weather. Nothing like climbing something like this with your mates.

Comments: I gave this route 4 stars because it's a great splitter and IT'S IN THE SHADE! It can be sandy and gritty if it hasn't seen traffic since the last storm. Even the most Creek worn hands should take heed.

Comments: when I was there in 12/2007 the route was very polished and the slings all needed to be replaced, as do the anchors. I don't think I'd recommend the line to anyone until then. But in all a neat route.

Comments: It is pretty lame nobody has entered any of the hundreds of hards routes that are in the saint george area!! Do you all really travel to send, or just to putz around??? Out of all the stellar routes in the area these are all that have been entered!! Whats up????? For instance the VRG is considered a saint george crag and has some of the best routes and rock in the u.s.. Why point people in the direction of black rocks or chuckawalla!! These are good cliffs but no where near the caliber as the go... more >>

Comments: You don't hurt my feelings.. As a matter of fact I just speak the truth!!! The rock in the gorge is bullet and as good as anything in the u.s... Open your eyes!!! Climbing in the gorge is know differant than climbing in crowded yosemite or zion.. As a matter of fact it is not crowded it is just noisy and if you can overcome that, you will end up stronger all around.. It is a beautiful place.. It is not my fault some congressman decided to put a freeway there!!! Another thing is I love all climbi... more >>

Comments: Super sick route!! Deserves way more attention than half the other routes on the tower... The rock is unreal on the last pitch!! It is almost like pinching hardened candle wax! It feels hard for the origanl rating of 12-!! Get up on this stellar line.. You can link the middle two pitches with a 70m also...
