Comments: Alright. Will do this later on, and try to put the stuff in the right areas but I might email you and Ian to look at it and make sure it's all correct. Thanks.

Comments: Ah right on Mike. This area is a little confusing to me, so glad to get a little tour from you and Ian, thanks. Changed the directions.

And yeah, should have mentioned the scary block at the lip. Defintely want 2-3 pads and a good spotter. This was a fantastic find and a really fun problem. I have video of Mike prior to his send. Will post a link.

Comments: This area is just confusing now with all the problems. I think needs to be split into sub-areas. Any thoughts on areas? I am not familiar enough with all the problems to do this myself, or risk being wrong about placement of alot of the problems.

Comments: Looks really good Ronn.

Anyone ever done A Dish to Pass? Maybe I was just being retarded the one day I tried it but holy crap did that seem hard.

Comments: Some of the number ratings are different in the new Mike Farris guidebook, it appears that they have been updated to accomidate route breakage, slickness, and a community consensus. I contributed a bunch of routes here a while ago, would be willing to re-number based on the updated guidebook, and/or the consensus rating on here. Anyone have an opinion?

PS. The new guidebook is awesome. Much improved, color photos, nice layout. A must-have for Minnesota climbers, and with a good highlight... more >>

Comments: Thanks Jon. I wonder if what you describe was the original aid line first used in 1952 to get to the summit. Cool.

Comments: I have not. We did the north face route.

Again if anyone has done the 5.8 Conn route up the south and west face, please add it. I could copy it from Touch the Sky but would be better for someone who has done it to list it.

Comments: Can a South Dakota administrator move the "east face" route posted by Marek on Khayyam to this spire? Makes more sense to have this spire seperate from Khayyam.

Also, if someone who has done the Conn route up the west face could add it that would be awesome.

Comments: I don't think so, unless the photo is not taken from directly above. There is a couple large boulders exactly below super slab with a few problems (Moj, easy corner) and this doesn't look like it.

Comments: It didn't look like the shelf would come into play that much on it. The shelf grows progressively larger out to the right, but is pretty minimal under the arete.
