Comments: This route is much more burly and pumpy than it looks like it should be for being so short.
I ripped off a large side pull jug at the very top with a loop of rope in my mouth to clip. Satermo kept me off the ground, barely. Thanks buddy!

Comments: My buddy Jay and I walked under this route a few years ago, before the added bolt, and thought "hell with that route". No point in breaking your ankles on a 5.9 sport route.
A couple weeks ago we were out there again, and noticed a new, lower bolt. Yeah, this route is amazing. And, now, more people will climb it. Win, win.

Comments: GBorge: Are you saying the cinder block restroom was removed? It's been a couple years since I've been to Granddad's. If so, I will change the description.
As for the grooved top-biners: yup with all the traffic this area gets, they wear out quickly. It's up to you and me, the climbers, to replace the ones that need replacing. When I used to frequent Granddad's and Barn Bluff, I always brought a couple extra biners and replaced what needed it. You should too.
