Comments: I think a good rule of thumb for this site should be only post a route if you've actually climbed it. From the ground up. At least on dangerous routes. This way when someone reads about it on this site and decides that he or she would like to climb it, they have substantial and honest route information and don't get themselves hurt. Aikido Gun boy is more like solid 12a old school power face climbing. And that's if it even goes the same way it did when these hardmen put it up. Personally I think... more >>

Comments: I never met any of these boys but was inspired by Jonny early in my climbing. He made alpine climbing look easy. They went out as warriors. Deepest condolensces to the families.

Comments: What a tragic loss to everyone who knew this amazing man. Michael had a zest for life that will be sorely missed by anyone who was lucky enough to be in his prescence. Keep sending on the other side brother. -Chad

Comments: This is one high quality route. Bring extra cams from 2-3 inches unless you like to watch the rope dangle far beneath your feet. A must do Red Rocks Classic.

Comments: Climbed this route in Janruary of 05. Both pitches are quite fun. First pitch pretty thin with sustained climbing once you reach the main face.

Comments: My brother and I climbed the pitch directly above the gobbler belay and also thought it was at least 5.10+. Very sustained climbing on small holds.

Comments: Climbed this route in February of 05 with my brother. Very high-quality slab climb on perfect stone. Be prepared for hard slab moves on the last pitch. Also beware of old quarter-inch bolts for anchors.

Definitely needs to be re-equipped with fresh bolts for belays. We cut away all the old tattered webbing on the anchors and replaced with new slings and carabiners.
