Comments: I have great respect for individuals like Chris and Aaron. However I'm working on "The Most Times Up a Single 14er Without a Summit"; twice up Longs but the weather turned me back both times (once wind and once snow).

Comments: I just subscribed this past weekend, and with the Access Fund membership and signing up for more than 1 yr I got 3yrs for $46. Thats a great price for a excellent mag! Not to mention access to their website too, where I watched an INSANE base jumping movie!

Comments: My son and I were bouldering there last week. It had been about a year since I'd been there. I had forgotten how fun it is. See you there.

Comments: I must give credit where credit is due. Thanks to you too, Tymothe, for an excellent route!

Both times I've climbed it I've stayed right above the lip, in the grassy, pathcy crack. Are you saying that I should go left once pulling over the lip?

Comments: This climb (and the one to the left) were my first two lead climbs (Nov '05). I climbed the one to the left, then I did this one. I fell just above the lip, sliced my finger on the sharp rock, and bled on the lower slab (sorry, Travis). But I got back on the route and finished it off, blood and all. I've been in love with lead climbing ever since. I've since been back to climb it again and still find it a lot of fun! Thanks Travis for putting it up.

Chad

Comments: Allen, quick question:

When you talk about accessing this climb and some others at Shark Fin Wall you say "1.3 miles west of the beige siphon tube is a dirt pullout on the north side of the road. Walk back east 50 feet to the gully and hike up and north...."

Is this the dirt pulloff in front of Friendship Seven?

Thanks, Chad
