Comments: For such a classic climb, I'm surprised how inconsistent the information is. Or maybe people just repeat what they heard and sometimes get it wrong.
35ft and 20 ft were listed here, and the guidebook says 24ft.
The Mountain Project description says the crack is the same size the entire climb, yet also says the crack widens for perfect hands after 15ft up.
Then there are comments on gear from .75 to 2.
Guess it's time for me to find out for myself next outing.

Comments: What areas does this cover? Corte Madera, Valley of the Moon, El Cajon Mountain?
I couldn't find anything on the ACSD website.

Comments: I've never seen this setup. Why rap rings and mussy hooks?

Comments: You no longer clip the anchor to Meteor on P2. Someone added a bolt for Leonids a few feet left of that anchor. It took us 4 rappels with a single 60m rope to get to the ground instead of 5. From the top, we skipped the anchor at the top of the Triton Tower and rappeled to the mid anchor on Triton, then the low anchor on Triton, overhang rappel and a little left, last one to the ground.

Comments: The Southern California Sport Climbing book labels this route as Make a Way (763). The route name Three Giant Steps (764) would make much more sense, I am assuming MP is correct.

Comments: The San Diego County Climbing Guide by Dave Kennedy and Chris Hubbard suggest this a 5.7, and the pdf guide by Art Messier suggests 5.8. Shares anchor with a sport route up and left 15' from top of crack.
