Comments: Darrell knows more about this bit of stone than you or I, Truly. The Photo is not mine. But I will say this, I did the route when you were just a kid! More than once.

Comments: Yeah,I notice.I just found it interesting. It's for sure harder to do in one pitch and without the fixed hex's.The first time I led it there was only one fixed hex just below the crux.

Comments: Ok,Its B or C or what ever you say. I have led it a lot, So maybe it is a bit easier for me.Don't know. Crack-a-go-go is 11.C and it is for sure harder than Insomnia. Chris said its 11.B So I'll go with that.Theres only a few 5.11 moves on the route. The flared chimney is 5.9+ the moves coming out of the chimney and into the layback are the hardest moves I think. The upper portion of the crack is 10.D but go ahead be suspicious.

Comments: This route is one of my favorite climbs on this wall. Makes you think. Very cool. I disagree with the R rating. No ground fall the pro is where it needs to be. In fact there is only one R rated route on this wall. and it is B.O.T.B.

Comments: That girl that you refer to is a five time World Champion. That girl was the first person to free The Nose. Went back a year later and freed every pitch herself in a day. As far as I know, it hasn't been repeated to this day (all pitches done free by one person in a day). That girl has been at the top of the climbing world for the better part of three decades. That girl still holds a bunch of power lifting records in her weight class. That girl only weighs about 100 pounds and can bench press 2... more >>

Comments: You mean someone other than Bob Scarpelli did a FA out here? The Scarpelli fan club (Skip Harper) is going to be upset. Oh I see others do FA's but only Bob gets in the book.
