Comments: I was able to drive all the way to the pullout below the route this morning and was surprised to find nothing. Looks to be plenty of snow above but no ice.

Comments: All the routes are FAT and seeing lots of traffic. 1st pitch of Coors WI2, 2nd pitch WI3 (+/-) depending on line. Mickeys and Red Stripe are one big wide flow, WI2-3.

Comments: Since 2000-01 season, the aqueduct has been repaired and it is unlikely these gems will ever form again.

Comments: 2/12/06 From the road: Beer Gardens looking good but may still be a little thin for most. Crossing the river is still the crux for this route. Coors Lite is looking fat bottom to top. Probably the best shape of the season. We climbed Mickey's and Red Stripe and they are in good shape as well, lots of water flowing and filling in nicely.

Comments: I would have to agree with A.C. keep waiting! Took a ride this morning and noticed that the ice is starting to make a come back. If your looking to climb protectable ice, you may want to wait awhile. Hopefully by the end of this coming week the ice will be in decent shape.

Comments: As a follow up to Leon's comment about the Aqueduct Flows : From what I understand the sluice above was repaired earlier this season and unfortunately these climbs maybe history.

Comments: Darren has brought up a good point. I have considered the lead climbing aspect of this route and the only logical thing to do is to leave 1 of the 2 anchor bolts where they are and clip it on the way up. The climbing at that point is pretty easy, maybe 5.4. It just seems to me that the person who put this anchor in originally didn't put a lot of thought into the placements of the bolts. I'm in no way the bolt police but just another climber who enjoys climbing there. I have seen some ugly/scary ... more >>

Comments: If anyone has climbed at lookout mtn crag then they know that the cold shut anchors are poorly placed and getting worn out. So my question is about the 10a climb on the left. Would anyone be offended if I were to replace this anchor? I would be more than happy to upgrade this to 2-3/8"x 3.5"x 6 pc. bolts, fixe hangers and chain (camo. of course). The next question is it O.K. to raise this anchor up ? The existing anchor (5' down from the top) seems to be too low to be able to SAFELY rig from the... more >>
