Comments: More of a boulder problem than the gill crack, the business is followed by 20 feet of 5.4.

Comments: Felt sane with only one #4 camalot, even for a lost sport climber.

Comments: Lowered a 40lb block off the route, otherwise great, how many other routes in the creek make use of multiple heel hooks

Comments: Was on CCC today, looks like the last pitch of Athlete's Feat, is now sporting a set of anchors, still some mank at the end of the third.

Comments: What route starts on a boulder straight downhill from the Book of the Dead? It has two bolts, then goes up a thin crack/left-facing corner.

Location: CO : Boulder : Boulder Canyon : Castle Rock : Country Club Crack (5.11c) By: Brian Adzima When: Jul 30, 2008 | view comment >> |
Comments: Nice climb, but it looks like a junkyard with ~20 bolt studs and ~12 pins.

Comments: Not very similar Elanor, there is a sit down rest 1/2 way, although it feels rather obscene.

Comments: TR'd Iron Horse afterwards and this felt significantly more difficult. The fall is much cleaner than it looks.

Comments: One of the best pitches I have done in Boulder Canyon. Pretty similar to 'Bolting for Glory' in difficulty.

Comments: My buddy jumped off at the first bolt, with a little bit of warning, so I got some slack in. The fall was not too scary, but the potential for getting gored by the half broken off tree branch is.
I thought the upper part is pretty good and the lower part is better than some of the routes people call 'classics'.

Comments: Went up on the right hand side. There was a descent placement for a green Alien way off to the right in a horizontal, somewhere in the 25-30 foot range. The starting hold below the bolt seemed pretty solid.

Comments: The slings and stuff for the belay before the roof were completely buried in bird shit, but it was otherwise avoidable. A 60m will not get you to the belay tree without about 30 feet of simul-climbing.

Comments: The # of bolts is fine. One or two are in a little less than optimum place to clip if you are short.
