| Shad just above the 5.8 pitch, below the cowboy arete. Our day got a lot more unpleasant after this, with chest-deep snow for most of the arete. Lucky we had champion wallowers Daniel and Eric to push | AK : Denali National Park : ... : Cassin Ridge (5.8 WI4) | | Oct 5, 2012 |

Location: ID : City of Rocks : Breadloaves : Decadent Wall : Testosterone Test (5.11d) By: Brian Waters When: Mar 26, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: I second the stick clip. The first crux felt like V4-V5, and the rest of the route is significantly easier.

Location: UT : Wasatch Range : Ogden : The Schoolroom : Tree Crack Area : Tree Crack (5.11a) By: Brian Waters When: Dec 7, 2008 | view comment >> | Comments: I didn't place anything larger than a .75 camalot. A few larger nuts and some small cams protected it nicely. Fun route.

Location: UT : Wasatch Range : Ogden : The Schoolroom : Tree Crack Area : Rocketsauce (5.11c) By: Brian Waters When: Dec 7, 2008 | view comment >> | Comments: Look out for a loose block on the upper wall. It's on the left side of the dihedral in the gray rock (the upper crux). It can be skipped without much additional effort. Overall, a stellar route for Ogden!

Location: NY : Adirondacks : Lake Champlain Region : Poke-O-Moonshine : Poke-O-Moonshine Main Face : Menace To Sobriety (5.10c) By: Brian Waters When: Jul 30, 2008 | view comment >> | Comments: Climbed this last Sunday. There was water running down the black streak on the right. I thought the route would move left of the water streak after the first bolt, but it did not. Finally got some dry rock on P2 of Cirrhosis. By the time I rapped, the streak was mostly dry, so maybe better to climb this in the afternoons. A stellar route, even with the water! You can link this with p2 of Cirrhosis for one long, awesome pitch.

Location: AL : Sand Rock : The Pinnacle : Comfortably Numb (5.9+) By: Brian Waters When: Jan 19, 2007 | view comment >> | Comments: This is about as classic as it gets at SR. The old Dixie Cragger gives it 5.9, which I agree with. The crux is a couple moves thru the steep section at the top of the slab, above what seems to be a good piton.
