Comments: I found this boulder on the drive to Summit Lake. It is not listed in the guidebook. I built landings and scrubbed off a bunch of lichen.

Comments: It is listed as a project in the guidebook. I sent it on 07-17-13. I propose the name "Bataan Death March." A little harder than "Trail of Tears" but not as high quality.

Beta Spoiler: I used all available hand and foot holds.

Comments: I did both approaches on back-to-back days - the walk-in is MUCH BETTER.

Has anyone else played on it?

Comments: Looks like a short (for the area) and stout line. The posted grade is a wild guess.

I wish MP would let me post climbs as unknown/project grades.

Comments: On 07-14-13 I removed inches of lichen and worked on the bottom. I couldn't put together the send. It is most likely V5-6.

Comments: Here is my interpretation of the line:

A single number does not accurately convey the difficulty of the line, especially on the YDS. A better way of describing the free climbing is a section of 5.7 to a single V5 move to a short section of 11+.
