Comments: What is the weather like at Sheepshead in mid-May? Too hot to climb?

Comments: Tony:
When you say "nearby", could you be more specific? Is it to the left of Buffalo Soldier? Any beta would be greatly appreciated.

Comments: Smell a sandbag? I'm the guy who told everyone I was a 5.11 climber after doing an 11a in Boulder Canyon!
The last pitch is no harder than the last pitch of Topographical Oceans, which gets 10b. If you think this pitch is 11b, you should check out Miss Manners on Little Scraggy Dome. It gets consensus 11a and it's considerably harder than Pornographic Motions. The rock quality on pitch 3 of Pornos isn't so great, and I guessed that maybe when they originally climbed this pitch is was MUCH worse,... more >>

Comments: I tried this route on Saturday, and right after you clip the first bolt, there is an obvious horn out left with a ton of chalk on it that is now pretty loose. Does anyone know if it's always been that loose or is this a recent development?

Comments: This is the filthiest route on Earth next to some obscure route on The Thing, and no amount of time will EVER get this thing to clean up. How does this route get two stars and Hike for Y2K gets one? If you want to have a nice time at Blob Rock, don't waste your time doing this thing. There are a ton of other routes that are much better.

Comments: This was a great route with moves all the way to the top! Does anyone know a way to get dogs up to the Bihedral area without making your dog do a "5.12-R-dog-move"? Aspen had a harder time climbing up there then we did!

Comments: This thing is a choss pile compared to the routes surrounding it. Plus there is 4 by 5 foot death block on the top. The routes left and right of it are much more enjoyable......and safer.

Comments: Just make sure when you throw a rope over the edge of a cliff, you let the climbers below you know that a rope is coming...i.e. yell "ROPE!" , and maybe wait a few questions for a "CLEAR!".....even if you think no one is below you.

Comments: I am going to Red Rocks to climb this route. On what pitch did you use the "orange metolius TCU"? did you need a buttbag for any of the belays or were there good stances at the belay stations? did you need two ropes to rappel or was one 60 meter enough? Thanx

Comments: Great route. Take the advice on using the long runners down low. Found myself yelling at my belayer for slack at the thin crux clip, when really I screwed up!! A little dirty near the top, so watch the feet. Otherwise a great route.
