More Info
My first real rope up was when I was about 10-12 years old (about 1982) on Pete's Rock above Wasatch Blvd in the Wasatch Range (Thanks Uncle Stevie Turner). My most dedicated climbing was from 1990-1991 when I spent the season hitching rides from my parents house up Little Cottonwood Canyon where I did countless trad routes up and down the North side with stints in City of Rocks when I could get there. Had Countless climbing partners back then (Trish where are you?) and met many from the posting board @ REI. My High School buddy Chad Hatch was a mainstay until he joined the Navy and I went to Brazil for a couple of years. Off/On climbing since the early 90's but re-building my equipment rack (replacing my old Hexes with cams & newer tech). Planning to head to the valley and climb El Cap via the Nose sometime in the next couple years.
