Comments: FYI If you park in the Horse Flats campground an Adventure Pass IS NOT VALID. It is valid if you park in the day use area up the road or just outside the entrance gate to the campgrounds. An adventure pass allows you to park in the National Forest but not to camp in it. If you park in a campsite the rangers assume you plan on staying there so they expect you to pay. 12 bucks is totally worth it to climb such an amazing spot.

I always urge anyone to pay the fee. Its only twelve bucks and it giv... more >>

Comments: Great Climb! Fun to do in two pitches as its nice to hang out or have lunch in the cave. All of the bolts were in good condition (at least the new bolts). It is possible to do this climb without clipping the old hangars but closer to the cave it is reassuring to clip the last old school hangar to prevent a bit of a run out. Also, dont even bother bringing cams up for belay. The large horn at the cave entrance bomber! Especially compared to cams in in loose sandstone and plus a 20 foot sling is m... more >>

Comments: Fun climb! As mentioned the right bolt (When looking up at the route) is extremely loose! Back it up with the trees or some pro or dont even bother with it... Just use pro...

Comments: This is a great sport route. A bit after the last bolt it felt like class three so putting pro in would help ease the mind but it isn't necessary.

Comments: This is one of the most fun routes at Indian Rock. Ive seen and done it with two different betas. One (using the right hand side-pull) and Two (Using a reachy left hand sloper) both moves coming after you reach the mini-jug. I would rate them V2 V1 respectively. Extremely fun and rewarding climb!

Comments: Just lead this route yesterday because i figured it would be a good top-rope for my less experienced friends who tagged along. The lead was a little nerve racking up to the first bolt and the whole climb seemed a little technical for 5.9 climbing. Overall it was a fun and interesting climb. There are many different ways to climb the route and it was fun to see everyones different interpretations of the holds and moves!
