Location: CA : Yosemite National Park : Yosemite Valley : Half Dome : Blondike (5.11b R) By: bob jensen When: Mar 17, 2013 | view comment >> | Comments: I haven't even climbed Snake Dike and I've done this and 2 Hoofers. This route was really fun to me. Odd runout at the end of pitch three, but great climbing! The frontside grabs felt like I was grabbing indy with the wave/transition at my back. Stance specific......... I went up left and above the roof at the second crux and my buddy went right under it then up. I didn't see that. This route is the better of the two you guys have done and they are both good. THis one, real good. ... more >>

I was stressing and sweating and looking for anything, but the biggest thing right in front of me. HA! Runouts didn't seem bad. Thanks for your work up on this face. I really like it up there. Needless to say, no crowds on this or the bdike next door. Yeah EDIT I obviously didn'... more >>

(5.10 PG13) By: bob jensen When: Mar 10, 2013 | view comment >> | Comments: Yeah Thomas. I dragged him up that thing after he hadn't done any climbing in some time. Road our bikes from town........... The look on his face when he came out of the Once in a Blue Moon corner and was eyeing the traverse over was priceless. Not a peep from him. He just did it, but he said he was shitting himself. I believe it. I always just called it Sorcerers to Witblitz to Once In a Blue Moon to Kingpin/Sorcerer finish. Pretty boring though eh? We were doing that linkup in the 90's... more >>
