Comments: What's with all the slash grades? They make something that is already highly arbitrary even more meaningless. Take the lower grade and move on.

Comments: Went out yesterday and some guys had ripped the starting jugs off of the route...large, large chunk of the start is pretty chossy now. Evidently they didn't clean it up either, I spent the first 30ish minutes excavating rocks, dirt and what not out of there trying to find some solid rock. Need some cleaning tools to finish the job however. Will do for now...just be careful as there are quite a few flexing pieces now that you'll want to use.

Comments: A good amount of yellow jackets were in the flake yesterday, at least 2 dozen or so. Be careful if allergic, they are swarming all around the flake/crux clip zone.

Comments: We put draw back on today. Got a lock nut and put it back in. The route is back in good condition now.

Comments: true there is no gear after the crack...but the climbing eases off to 5.8. there is some good gear placing beta that makes the climbing much easier.

Comments: Actually...there are now 3 bolted lines in the cavern. one on the right side which goes at 12d, one to the right of transatlantic which is 13b-ish and then transatlantic itself which is 2 pitches and goes at 13a with a first 10a pitch on gear.
