Comments: why aren't glue-in bolts used more in areas like Echo and Gibraltar in SB?

Comments: Hey Ben, thanks for tightening the bolt- that was all i was getting at. I didnt have a wrench on me otherwise I would have done it myself.

Also- thanks for putting up Stinger at Echo Cliffs- loved that route!

Comments: i would highly recommend rapping down from the anchors to the belay base. the ash from the fires has made the walk around really loose and precarious- and with the chaparral all but gone, the drop from the belay ledge looks pretty serious. That being said, its a fun climb and challenging for the grade!

Comments: yikes! so basically, clipping any bolts placed in SB sandstone is just for my psychological well being?

Comments: The shuts on Morning Glory at Left Flank have grooves in them leaving only about half of the original metal. I would not recommend climbing this route.
