Comments: The General season for hunting rabbits opens July 1 and extends through the last Sunday in January. While it is unlawful to hunt within 150 yards of a developed recreation site or occupied area be aware that we have encountered hunters on the approach to Texas Canyon and that hunters frequent the area while hunting for rabbits.
