Comments: My best guess is that someone's belayer for the last pitch of high-e did not anchor in, dragging them both to the ground when the leader fell, or causing a nearly fatal accident, and that is the impetus behind the sign. Although i've never heard of this happening so it is probably hogwash

Comments: The clouds would break every 10 or 15 minutes to give us a view of the climb, but then we'd get socked back into the pea-soup clouds

Comments: Great beginning leader climb...grade is spot on (might even be 5.4...), gear is plentiful and very obvious, and it is a fun crack!

Comments: where did you go for p3??

I led p2 after following the first pitch, and I ended up on a grassy ledge (I was terrified I was going to get bitten by a snake), and we scrambled to the right and up to the top of the cliff, it was pretty shitty

Comments: Perhaps it was the conditions at the time (wet and cold), but I thought the first pitch was harder than the direct last pitch. It was also at night so the exposure of the direct finish was diminished too.
