Comments: I would just point out the fact that the route does NOT follow the north shoulder of the summit pinnacle in summer conditions - unless it's completely iced/snowed over, the shoulder is suicidal rock climbing. Instead, traverse across the west of the pinnacle to a 4th class ramp running up the middle of the west face. There should be no 5th classing on the pinnacle- the rock is fucking horrible.

Location: OR : Mt. Hood : Reid Glacier Headwall (AI3 Steep Snow)

Comments: Castle Crags is to the south of the Reid Headwall lines. It begins at iRock saddle, follows the craggy ridge of the extreme western (southern) rim, and tops out on the upper west crater rim.

Comments: What elevation do most people get off the Coopspur and drop onto Eliot? Looks like there's currently (late Feb '12) a steep ramp connecting the spur to the glacier at 9,000'... anyone ever dropped down there?

Comments: the chunk of rock under the tree is sticking out WAY farther than it used to.. would not grab this unless you check it out first (like while not under it)
