Comments: The morning that I first climbed Satan's was ominous. My friend and I got to the base, and found thick, caked, dried blood all over the ground. It was just a few spatters--it was at least an inch thick in some places, and it was literally ALL OVER! Needless to say, we were a little freaked-out. It was about 5:30 -- 6:00 a.m. Great route though!

Comments: Watch out for the wasps in the flakes. I just about got swarmed here. The "chickenhead-squat" at the top, is a classic.

Comments: We used to do the 2nd pitch with only three pieces of pro, because of the rope-drag. It's an easy .7, and three pieces allow you to really cruise along the elegant dihedral.

Comments: This was the site of my first lead fall. It was a 20 footer, at the crux. I had to change my Depends after that. I love this route!! Awesome finger crack! Awesome finish--one hell of a layback!

Comments: I hope that the 2nd bolt was replaced. It was a scary one, a spinner, that looked like it would come out if you sneezed too hard. Great climb!! One of my first .7 leads. Pucker factor for me, then, was a 10+.

Comments: My good friend, Neil Glad, put this route up. He called it "If Looks Could Kill" because he put a bolt in on rappel, while two other climbers "looked-on." If looks could've killed. He had top-roped this route before the bolts went in.
