Comments: awesome route. i have done this one about four different ways, each whith their own rating. sticking only to the crack is the funnest but probably not 5.8. easy gear tho.

Comments: i think this route feels safer to lead than to follow. very slippery feet on traverse and also hard to read. and did i mention reachy. this is one of those routes i love but wonder why. hint, don't place any cams in the leftmost pockets. you need it for your hand.

Comments: i thought the crux was the first ten feet and then pulling the roof. there is plenty of places to put gear so i definitely wouldn't give it a pg rating but compared to open book i felt it was considerably harder. the move just above the tree which i was expecting to be the crux seemed very solid and easy, looks hard in the photos and the whole route looks much harder than it really is. i was initially intimated but im glad i didn't wuss out.

Comments: finally lead this route, it is awesome,and requires almost all climbing techniques. two number fours if this is at your level will be appreciated unless a thirty footer is ok. also, one number three and three number twos. This will make it seem like a sport route but you can always skip a placement if you feel the need to run it out to feel cool. Better to have it and not place it than to not have it if you need it.

Comments: great route, i have been informed that my start was to the right of wh ere we were supposed to start but other than that you would have to have no mountain sense to get off route.For me the start of pitch two was the mental crux, but what got us was the getting off the rock.
