I have been climbing rock for 11 years. There was a period when I didn't climb, due to knee surgery and other issues. Climbing is my passion. I climb because it makes me happy and brings peace to my soul. I'm not an adrenaline junky. But love the challenge of working up the grades in difficulty. The hardest I have led in trad is 5.11a/b and that's in Joshua Tree. In Yosemite the hardest was 5.10c The Lunatic Fringe. But I have led Chingando 5.10a Offwidth and that was way hard. But did it! I love climbing in the Valley. My goal is to climb The Nose. I like to return to the valley as much as I can. Can't wait to climb The Crack of Doom, Entrance Exam, and The Midterm. I enjoy all types of climbing finger cracks, hand cracks and the monster offwidths. I once lost a layer of skin on Generator crack and Chingando. I climb alot in Joshua Tree, since I live an hour and a half away. I must mention Joshua Tree holds a special place in my heart, especially since that's where I met my wife and got married under the oak tree in Live Oak area. I enjoy Indian Creek the crack climbing out there is amazing and endless. It's worth the long drive.
