More Info
Just moved back to Salt Lake City 6 months ago after 4.5 years in Switzerland studying.
Learned to climb when I moved to europe. Mostly just bolted routes as that is the norm there, but some trad for mountaineering routes and then a lot of trad since coming back to Utah at the end of March.
Originally learned to climb because I wanted to learn rope work for glacier travel and to be able to snowboard down cool lines in the alps that require raps, climbing with crampons, and to get used to climbing over serious exposure to get to cool lines. Now I climb when the ski season is out, meaning I don't really climb for half the year.
Still looking for jobs now, so my schedule is really wide open and I am happy to climb with anyone who is competent with the ropes and safety.
I really prefer multi-pitch and alpine climbing, but have been pushing at sport as well to up my level.
